I have been in the practice of law since 1983. I was selected as the attorney for several major legal service plans, including Chase Manhattan and American Express Legal Plans, helping thousands of satisfied clients with their legal problems over the years, and have worked extensively with both AARP and Legal Counsel for the Elderly.

I am licensed to practice in both Maryland and the District of Columbia, and have offices in Downtown, D.C. and in Wheaton, Maryland, both of which are conveniently located next to Metro stations on the Red line.

In my legal practice, I have taken many cases to trial when necessary, but have settled hundreds of disputes to the mutual satisfaction of my clients, sometimes involving hundreds of thousands of dollars. I was the key attorney in the highly publicized decision of In re: Mollie Orshansky, (DCCA Opinion No. 02-PR-170), in which I appeared on behalf of Jane Pollack, in the Courts of the District of Columbia, to prevent the unjust removal of Mollie Orshansky from her own home in New York, where she was cared for by family members, in accord with her own wishes.
